And Sometimes You Let Go

The greatest trouble human beings face perhaps is letting go. Our ignorant minds fail to realise that not everything is permanent and sometimes the epistemology of loss is critical for growth. 

Whether it be people, things or even jobs - we are ever afraid of change. Change, is the mother of all creations. Every new idea, comes with a change of thought, and every change comes with an abundance of future progress and possibilities. It may seem such a simple problem at first, but as we dwell and ponder over it, it's versatile nature increases. In that sense, this idea can be extended to the entire society. The reason people do not follow new anti-climate change regulations, cannot accept new neighbours in community or even a new tax system can be traced back to this inertia of the mind. The mind is like a huge boulder placed on a flat ground. Moving it without incentive, is equivalent to trying to push the boulder by yourself. You can't, and in the process would break a hand or two. 

Incentive is the slope of the ground, give a man food, shelter and domapine - and off he throws the dreams out of the window. Incentive, moves the boulder without you doing anything. 

But punishment, well that's the hill, opposite slope, the height of the ground is increasing - the boulder is more difficult to move. 

But does a change always keep a constant slope in the boulders ground ? No.

As time progresses, the things that used to excite us die out, "oh the thoughts wither and fade upon, like the dried flowers petals"

And this brings us back a full circle to the lain topic - change. 

The drying out of the dopamine rush of something is normal. Everything that begins must have a end. Bad habits included. So if you ever feel the need to change something, introspect and see to it that your courage does not stand in your way. 

(I guess, I am letting go...is gonna be hard)

beyond the thoughts of others sigh,

Do not fret to follow the change, 

for why fear when the entire cosmos is a change ?"
