Happiness Theory
It is often reminised that happiness is a neccessity in one's life, or that we must Keep Smiling. In fact, that becomes the motto of my school, yet we find ourself in the cocundrum of not being able to do that. Why ? How is it possible just to keep smiling ? And what do we gain from it ?
It is not a delusion, but a solution. Just smiling simply tends to create many phenomenas, both inside and outside one's body. As the face smiles, work to create that beautiful smile, the brain tends to release a small amount of happiness hormone, like serotonin/dopamine. This causes us to be happy, even by a little, however grave the situation be.
But blah, thats science, what's an article without a little philosophy ? A smile creates a placebo effect, a false-sense in my hearts that we are happy. And much more, much much more greater is the effect it has on the people near you.
For this, let us first throw off our utopian world, and classify people into two - the ones that like you, and the ones that dispicable hate you. When you smile, the people who actually care for you, be happy. Your positive aura, goes onto them. Their brains mirror syndrome gets triggered and they tend to be happy too. And the ones that don't like you ? Well, they tend to be more frustrated 🤣. What better way to get back subtle at them ? This also, gives them a chance to rethink, a chance to try and realise their mistakes. A chance to change for the better.
So the next time you think, what's my smile going to do ? Or who cares for me ? Think about this, it's much less about you, and way way more about the ones around you. It's about spreading positivity and making yourself a charm. It's a free and golden way of nature to spread happiness.
So remember, even in the desperate times of measure when all hope seems to be lost, keep smiling, keep smiling because it will help you, keep smiling because that shows your strength and keep smiling because that's what you deserve.
"As the rain feel,
And without an umbrella I felt,
The cold dews hitting on my head,
I had a miserable thought, of sick-bed
But then, I thought,
What's the use of such a sad thought ?
And I smiled,
Slowly, the rain seemed to dance
The dews seemed to be a graceful glance
A smile had changed it all in a trance."
